Quartz worktops are made from a combination of natural quartz and other raw materials. They are hard and resilient. These characteristics combine to create an ideal surface for kitchen counter-tops. Natural quartz creates a surface material with outstanding properties for kitchen design applications. It offers beauty similar to natural stone in a wide range of colors and extraordinary textures.

For design and installation purposes it is a very similar product to granite. This means features such as under mounted sinks and drainers cut directly into the worktop are available.

Because Quartz worktops are custom machined like granite just for your project there are also a wide range of edge profile options. From super square with sharp lines for contemporary kitchens through to “Ogee” and other more traditional edge profiles.

Silestone worktop square edge — “Square” or basic eased edge. This edge type appears square with a slightly eased top edge while maintaining the surface’s thickness.

Silestone worktop Ogee edge — Ogee. This traditional style edge features a concave arch that transitions into a convex arch.
